Dr. Sudhir Rana is a faculty of marketing and strategy at the College of Healthcare Management & Economics at Gulf Medical University, UAE. He holds Ph.D. degree with the Ministry of Human Resource Development Scholarship from the Government of India and Post – Doctorate from Putra Business School (AACSB Accredited), Malaysia. He has set in high standards in academics and research. During his stint over a decade, he got associated with the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, India; Fortune Institute of International Business, India, and Maastricht School of Management, Kuwait. He has delivered 150+ workshop sessions, keynote speeches and webinars. He has launched and chaired Doctorate Program at Fortune Institute of International business, India and got the Ph.D. cotutelle agreement with renowned universities.
Dr. Rana works on marketing streams (consumer behavior more specifically), business education, international marketing and emerging markets are also his areas of research. His research is published in the Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Emerging Markets, and Journal of Promotion Management among others. He is a well-known scholar and editor in the field. A few stories that he turnaround include the progression of the journal FIIB Business Review which is a Scopus indexed and the most preferred journal from Sage. He holds the position of senior editor with the International Journal of Emerging Markets, and the South Asian Journal of Marketing. He is also founding series editor of Advances in Emerging Markets and Business Operations by Taylor & Francis and founding series Review of Management Literature by Emerald. He loves serving and contributing to the scholarly community in multiple ways. He is open to learn and participate in scholarly community activities.
